Thirty years ago, as a high school student, I was invited by a friend's family to attend a summer camp at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Other notable sites include Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement, and Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum that recreates life during the colonial and revolutionary periods. Virginia's state slogan, "Virginia is for Lovers," beautifully captures the essence of its breathtaking landscapes and rich history. With over 40 state parks, including 23 offering full amenities like electricity and water for Recreational Vehicles (RVs), Virginia provides a wealth of outdoor experiences-whether along the coast, in the mountains, or by rivers and lakes-that continue to draw visitors from all over .
