商品簡介
This anthology of Richard Gangelhoff is a sm顤g廛bord of literature including short stories with settings in the Minneapolis drug scene, London in the Sixties, Ancient China, Medieval Japan, and a Minnesota blizzard in the 19th century. There are essays on Bergson's Theory of Comedy, Buddhism and the Silk Road, the history of Qur'an translations, Ferdowsi, Basho, Hindutva, and Zoroastrianism. Interspersed with poems as gritty and granular as the pavement on the street where you live, this volume runs the gamut of forms from essays to aphorisms---while also conveying an appreciation and knowledge of world literature throughout its immense variety.
