When does God place a spirit within us as children? Is it at birth? Or, is it when we are children in the womb? This should be the preeminent question of all abortion debates. Without knowing the answer to this question, all Pro-Life and Pro-Choice discussions miss the most important mark, which is "Are we taking the life of an immortal spirit that God is creating in the womb?" Other books and debates have discussed, "When does life begin", instead of asking, "When does God place an immortal spirit within the child"? However, when this life is over our immediate realization will be, that this spiritual identity is our most important identity. And since God is a Spirit, our spiritual identity is the part about us which is most like God. We are made in his image. When we look at abortion in this way, the gravity of this decision takes on an an exponential importance with eternal consequences. While utilizing the backdrop of the accounts of four Biblical lives in the womb, from Jeremiah to John the Baptist, and from David to Samson, this book brings the answer to that preeminent question... "When does God place a spirit within us!"
