Over the years, the marriage deteriorating to the point where there was virtually no interaction left, no conversations and no physical contact of any kind, that was for sure. Divorce was inevitable.
During the divorce it was clear to him that her intent was to strip him of everything, while ruining his relationship with his children, and nothing was going to stand in her way. She took every means possible, even if it meant telling outright lies about him. She portrayed him a deadbeat dad, verbally abusive husband, and someone that only cared about the bottom line. All lies, accusations and fabrications based of snippets of the truth. She played the role of the helpless victim and played it very convincingly.
The mysterious part of it all was that she was never asked to provide any tangible proof of any of these accusations. It was she that was full of greed and hatred, and she blamed her husband for everything.
Since she still needed him to support her after the divorce, life imprisonment wouldn't do, but stripping him of all of the money that he had saved is whole life, virtually all of his assets, and saddling him with over one hundred thousand dollars of debt, would suit her just fine. She used her own children against him. She didn't care about the permanent damage that it would cause her own children by involving them. Using them against their father to get what she wanted was inexcusable.
