Green Metal-Organic Frameworks: Synthesis, Characterization, and Applications

This book covers Green Metal-Organic Frameworks (GMOF) synthesis, characterisation, characteristics, and applications. It consists of toxicity evaluations of their solubility control and degradation. The main strategies and developments for the environmentally friendly synthesis of MOFs, including solvent-free synthesis, syntheses employing green solvents (water, ionic liquids, supercritical CO2, PEG), and microwave and ultrasound heating, are addressed.
