These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty: I cannot make you drink, but I hope I can make you thirsty

So many struggle with the mention of faith and believing.

Some see Christian faith as a list of killjoys or difficult things you should do and fun things you cannot do. But what if I told you that everything Christ tells you to do is for your best possible life. Christ Jesus wants to help you get rid of the regrets and guilt of the past that keep you from experiencing God's best for your future. Christ wants you to know that you do not have to do life alone but will always be with you. Christ wants you to no longer worry about failure but focus on taking a risk or a chance or steps of faith that lead to limitless possibilities and power. I know I cannot make you drink but I hope I can make you thirsty!

Stephen Forsyth has lived in San Diego, CA for the past 21 years. He has been married to the love of his life, Sherry since 8.8.88. His family consists of 2 sons, 1 daughter and 9 grandchildren - each of which he is proud. Stephen has served the Wesleyan Church since 4.3.83. He has also served the Army National Guard for 32 years, retiring in 2020 as Colonel and Senior Army Chaplain. The Church and Military provide a wide range of experiences dealing with people of different faiths and backgrounds. Stephen has earned his Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation. Stephen enjoys teaching Theology, Church History and the Bible. His goal is to always to simplify and place the cookies on the lowest shelf where everyone can reach and understand regardless of one's educational background.
