The story of a man who escaped the hell of an abusive relationship only to find himself lost in another hell of an isolated existance.
That was until he met her, standing there behind the counter of his favourite cafe in the dead of night.
Her name was A.M.A, a shining light in the darkness of his life.... literally, she was full to the brim with lights, sprockets, servos and wires.
She was a mechanical, a sapient machine and as little sense as it made Frank was enamoured.
Perhaps it was when he met her, perhaps it was her beauty, perhaps it was how her life was as lonely and repetitive as his own, perhaps it was the bullet that nearly ripped its way through his head when he escaped his ex?
Who knows, who knows if such a thing could even work.
But it's worth a shot.
