BUT GOD, The Series, Volume II: Just a Bit of Something

Nathaniel poem's, "Just a Little Bit of Something" are a gift from God. God has given him a talent that he does not keep to himself. Almost everyone he meets, he is willing to share a poem with them, if they let him. He continues to share these poems, and they come from his heart. Every sentence is filled with loving words that will fill your heart with kindness and joy. He loves his wife, Graciela (Grace), his daughter, Briget M, his grandchildren: Zion, Zariyah, ZaNiah & Mark; and his great grandson, Ian.

Nathaniel F. Daniel was born in Washington, DC on February 2, 1955. He spent most of his life being a country boy picking cotton and taking care of animals. He learned how to prepare these animals for the market. When he got older, he decided to enlist in the Army at an early age. You see, he wanted to get off the farm as soon as he could. So, without telling his adopted mother, Nathaniel took the exam for service and passed the test. Then he went home and surprised her with the news. Off to serve his country in the Vietnam War he went. He served his country for several years as an Army Ranger. On November 28, 1976, Nathaniel received an honorable discharge. While in the Army, he wrote a poem called "Freedom" and was awarded $1,500 for winning a contest in the 70s. When Nathaniel returned back home things had changed, but he was respected for his service to his country, and he continued to write poems.
