Care Work: Theorie - PRAXIS - Politik

Care work takes place on biographically changing occasions in private and professional contexts. According to its structural characteristics, care work is not compatible with now imperially increased formations of social domination over people and nature. Hence the endemic crisis of care work (public, familial). It is not only an indicator of the current weaknesses of the welfare state, but also extends into the concrete constitution of the reproduction of life in society as a whole. Changes can only be expected through the interaction of diversely organised interest groups (professional, civil society) with a structural and socio-cultural transformation of the core institutions of care work.
