Shadows at Changi

Shadows at Changi is a literary novel inspired by true events, following Daniel Lim-a father battling muscular dystrophy, a history of spousal abuse, and a public smear campaign after his ex-wife disappears with their son. With the support of Clara Tan, his childhood friend and fiercest ally, Daniel fights for justice through the courts while building The Lucas Initiative: an advocacy movement born from grief, but rooted in hope. As his body weakens and time runs out, Daniel shifts from trying to reunite with his son to building a legacy he might one day return to. Emotional, raw, and ultimately redemptive, the novel challenges the way society views invisible abuse, public narratives, and the quiet strength it takes to leave a light on-for love, for truth, and for the ones we still wait for.
