Everyone should clearly comprehend that including the community as a significant component of public safety is essential. If sincere ownership of the cancer of violence, crisis, trauma, and human imbalance is to be undertaken and deterred, individual community engagement as a shared safety strategy is mandatory.
With that said, if the community is truly going to be situated to play a role in developing effective shared, complementary safety strategies, reliable training is mandatory. This training must equip them to bring forth the most effective community driven strategies and implement credible skill sets from which to operate.

This manual is designed to equip the responding public with the skills needed to MAINTAIN PERSONAL SAFETY and EFFECTIVELY MANAGE DYNAMIC, POTENTIALLY VOLATILE SITUATIONS when engaging with everyday encounters and entities who are potential threats or adversaries who want to do harm. Mitigating environmental risks, maintaining awareness of surroundings, recognizing early signs of escalating behavior, and utilizing effective communication and de-escalation techniques is the order of the day.
One of the most imperative goals of this training is being able to equip the readers with the skills, systems, and strategies to identify, manage, control, and survive those individuals who wish to do harm and the threats that they present.
