BONUS INSIDE: 2 MORE BOOKS (28 Days of Wall Pilates Workout and Chair Exercises!!)
You've heard what to expect. But
nobody told you what it would
feel like.Not the doctor.
Not the hospital pamphlet.
Not your cousin who had the same surgery and "bounced back in two weeks."
This is not a medical manual.
It's your
brutally honest, painfully funny, and surprisingly comforting survival guide to recovering from joint surgery-
knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, or whatever else has recently betrayed you.
Inside this book, you'll find what the brochures forgot to mention:
- How to prepare your home so you're not stuck yelling for your phone across the room
- Why showering on one leg should be considered an Olympic sport
- What pain actually feels like-and how to deal with it without losing your mind
- Why your knee won't bend (yet), why your pants don't fit (yet), and why you cry at cat videos (normal)
- How to handle setbacks, slow progress, weird swelling, and people who say "but you look fine"
- What to say to your boss, your partner, or your toddler when you're not OK-but don't want to explain for the hundredth time
- A real talk about poop, depression, driving, dating, and yes... sex
Written by someone who's had two surgeries, made every mistake, cried in the shower, and still plays tennis with a titanium shoulder, this book is part checklist, part pep talk, and part best-friend-you-didn't-know-you-needed.
