This special issue of the HETI Journal: International Research and Practice features the proceedings of the 18th International Congress of Equine-Assisted Services, held in June 2024 in Budapest, Hungary. The publication includes a collection of short papers presented as oral presentations during the congress. These contributions span various Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) disciplines and highlight innovative work in progress, emerging practices, and early research findings.
Short papers in this issue offer concise insights into ongoing developments that are particularly suited to interactive or visual presentation formats. While more limited in scope or empirical depth compared to full papers, they represent valuable contributions to the field. This issue serves as a platform for disseminating novel ideas and fostering dialogue within the EAS community.
