Forget me not

Forget me not is a tale of long lost love, redemption and the power of song. Two men fell in love as kids before losing each other over the years. One becomes a famous singer, the other stays in the little town.

Tragedy strikes as the two men reach middle age. One of their mothers has fallen into a coma and the funds for her medical treatment aren't available. The two reunite and decide to put on a concert in order to raise money to save her life.

The journey brings them together again, along with the singer's children. This is not just a love story but the beginning of the journeys of many different characters. Their secrets, their lies, their redemption and overall, their deep and powerful love for music and each other.

Daniel has become a famous singer, he has been through and out of a marriage that almost cost him everything. He has three kids now, twins and an adopted child who are all his world. Yet something is missing, something has been missing ever since he left the little town where his heart has remained for years.

Aiden has stayed in the little town, a sacrifice at a young age cost him the love of his life and he has spent years missing him. His mother gets involved in a car accident and is currently in a coma. He forces himself to be brave enough to travel to find the love of his life and convince him to return to the little town to help him with the show.

Miranda is Aiden's mother, a woman with a lost love of her own. She has distanced herself from her son over the years due to her own grief and blames herself for it. Yet she cannot fully look him in the eyes due to how much he reminds her of her late husband. Yet just before her accident she had changed her mind and had wanted to be a better mother to him, to convince him to have his own love story once more.

Bailly is the daughter of Daniel Jones. She's a strong woman who does everything for everyone and has barely had the chance to think about herself over the years. She has many secrets locked in her mind and many things that should've kept her down but she keeps moving along with her greatest dream, to travel the world with her brother.

Demi is a woman who has escaped a loveless and abusive marriage. She finds herself in the little town through a stroke of luck and finally finds her purpose in life after years of being made to feel worthless.

Andrew is the son of Daniel Jones. He's a man who's trying to redeem himself for his mistakes as a teenager, not just on his family but on himself as well. He's giving everything he has into causes he feels passionately about.

The little town itself isn't named at all as I wish for the readers to picture this place for themselves out of their own memories.
