How would you feel if it were illegal to simply exist? That's a question Shanely Thomas has had to ask herself ever since she discovered she is more than human.

After growing up bouncing between foster homes, Shanely thought the biggest challenge was the mysterious grandmother who left her a cabin. But that is nothing compared to the night a large wolf runs her truck off the road and tries to kill her.
