Darcy Smith, daughter of the opposition leader, is attacked by two unknown assailants. Samuel Klein runs a conglomerate of companies in the arms industry and is the president of The Alliance, an organization that aims to influence the planet's future. His son, Lucas, attends university with Darcy. Kai Smith, Darcy's father, is criticized by the most radical factions for moving closer to the socialist government in an attempt to form a coalition. Meanwhile, international organizations seek to influence the fate of Kweap, Samuel Klein's company. Because Lucas will not have access to the shares inherited from his mother until he turns 25, Samuel tries to dilute his son's stake to maintain sole control of the company. Boris Kutznezov, leader of the largest country in the East, seeks to influence Kweap's minority shareholders to stop the company from supplying arms to the newly independent states, thereby facilitating their reintegration and driving up oil prices, the backbone of his economy.
It is a large-scale political and economic battle with both local and international power at stake, where players range from promotional models to presidents who shape the destiny of the world.
