Lady Elise Brent was party to the happenings at Granton Park. It was also where she met Lord Francis, brother to India, Duchess of Granton. She had first thought he was the perfect beau, despite the growls from her brother Jonathon. Now somewhat wiser she came to realise that life with Francis would not suite her. But Lord Alexander Derby, brother to her new friend Lady Alice, caused her heart to beat faster. The problem was he saw her as a nuisance, and someone who would lead his sister astray.
