Purses, Heels and Credit Card Deals is your honest, empowering and very real guide to detoxing your debt and reclaiming your joy- one intentional (and badass) step at a time. This isn't another boring financial book full of shame and spreadsheets.
It's for the dreamers with designer taste and TJMaxx budgets. For the ones who've been through some real shit, self-doubt, and clearance-rack coping mechanisms. For anyone who's ever bought a latte (daily) instead of checking their credit score or thought a Target run could cure emotional burnout. This book is for families, couples, young professionals, singles, students- basically, if you've ever had a wallet and a worry, you're in the right place.
Finding courage to climb out of debt is like showing up to a mountain hike in a pair if Manolo Blahniks- unwise? Maybe. Fierce? Absolutely. Totally scary? Yep, but damn it, you're going anyway. Divorce debt was my Kilimanjaro and it felt like I had on 4" Louboutins. It was painful, wildly impractical, but honestly, what I did to restore balance was kind of iconic. For real though, there's no ski lift to the summit and I didn't have a trust fund nor a finance degree to fall back on- just guts, grace, grit in my Blundstone boots and a gameplan. Step by step, dollar by dollar, I've rewritten the story and am sharing it with you- and this time, it ends in freedom, not overdraft fees.
Most of the battle is in your brain,
not your bank. Remember that. And if I can do it- holy shit- so can you. Get this book- it's the only impulse purchase that's cheaper than your latte habit and way more life-changing. #FinancialSelf-Care
