Why is a Bulgarian clairvoyant called the Balkan Nostradamus?
Why is Vanga the convenient prophet?
Why does Baba never predict a Third World War?
Why is Vanga convinced that humans were created by extraterrestrials?
Why does she say that water will become more valuable than gold?
Vangeliya Gushterova is known around the world as the Balkan Nostradamus, and in her native Bulgaria - simply as Baba Vanga. For more than half a century, she helped thousands of people from various countries through her clairvoyant abilities. Occasionally, though less frequently, she made prophecies about the future of the world and human civilization. She never mentioned specific years or dates.
However, in the early decades of the 21st century, many concrete events and natural disasters have been linked to her name - an association that does not reflect the truth about the person and the phenomenon that is Vanga. She was truly a unique figure who never predicted a Third World War, but rather envisioned a thousand years of peace.
This book presents a wide range of perspectives on the Vanga phenomenon, including critical voices, in a quest to uncover the truth buried beneath myths and outright fabrications about the so-called Balkan Nostradamus or simply, Baba.
