Biffie is a street cat with a striped gray coat.
His eyes are green and shine like emeralds.
He was born and lives alone on the streets of Toulon (South of France).
His mom left a long time ago.
To survive, he has learned to fend for himself by rummaging through bins to find something to eat.
He knows all the nooks and crannies of his city.
Biffie is an empathetic and altruistic cat.
He is intelligent, resourceful, curious about everything, mischievous, and sometimes reckless.
But what no one knows is that Biffie understands human language... and that he can talk to them.
However, he prefers to avoid them and stay hidden... Well, when it's possible !
This first book in a series to follow will allow Biffie to experience adventures that will force him to step out of his "comfort zone."
Depending on the events, he will have to adapt and react.
His kind soul, curiosity, empathy, and courage will be important assets that will help him get out of sometimes quite delicate situations.
The adventures of Biffie the cat are intended for younger children for shared reading with parents, but also for older kids who will enjoy discovering how Biffie reacts to the ups and downs of life.
The adventures of Biffie the cat come straight from the overflowing imagination of a father who, every night, told his three daughters these completely improvised stories.
This book is dedicated to them, in memory of those tender moments.
