Meet Crazy Knees-the Cherokee chief who's really good at tripping over his own feet, accidentally declaring war on hats, and turning every treaty into a Three Stooges routine.
When the U.S. government sends slick-talking General Maam E Daddio (aka "the most confused government agent in history") to boot Crazy Knees' tribe off their land, chaos erupts like a buffalo stampede in a china shop. Watch as Crazy Knees:
Set in 1830s Wyoming, this laugh-so-hard-you'll-snort adventure mixes slapstick, puns ("Don't worry-it's just a little off the reservation!"), and Vaudeville-style antics with a heartfelt nod to Native resilience. Will Crazy Knees' tribe outsmart the government? Or will Daddio finally get his boots back?
Don't miss the laugh-out-loud legend that's history... but not hysterical.
(Serious Epilogue Warning: Tears may follow tears of laughter.)
"The only book where a moose interrogation counts as diplomacy!"
