It has always been theorized that Outlaws of the old west were never really just one individual. Some historians figure that they might have been more than one person claiming the name...and another thought, what if the reason why they were believed dead, happened to be because they went into hiding?
Here, the original outlaws had been infected at some point, or had it in their blood...the Dire Wolf Shifter Gene. As it became active, they migrated away from the human population for safety and for all these years, disappeared. This is the basis behind the Horizon Pack in Northwest Territory.
Fate brought them south on a trip, only for their Alpha to run into a girl on the run. She also just so happened to be his soul mate. The latent Vega Pack member, on the run from a tyrannical Alpha, who only wants her abilities and will force breed her in order to keep those powers in his bloodlines.
Meet Ara Lesso, on the run, and the Alpha's mate that falls into the lap of Dire Wolves.
