All Aden Wong wants is to be a star. But when aggressive media attention and Hong Kong's conservative culture threaten his career, he may have to choose between love and his dream job. At twenty-three, Aden has just gotten his big break in the Hong Kong entertainment industry as part of the new boy band MK5. Poised to achieve everything he's always dreamed of, he vows to focus only on his career, no romantic distractions allowed. Then he's cast in the city's first boys love drama, Hooked on Love, along with his handsome bandmate Calvin Leung. Sparks inevitably fly on the screen and off. As Aden and Calvin learn to navigate their on-screen romance and newfound fame, they're forced to confront the real-life feelings they've developed. Even once Aden commits to the relationship, the two young costars face challenges from the TV studio's strict dating policy, traditional local culture, and sensationalist tabloids. With everything they've worked so hard for at risk, they must find a way for not only their careers, but their love, to flourish.
