The Wellbeing Zone: Enabling Compassionate Responses to Trauma and the Nurture of Wellbeing

The Wellbeing Zone is a practical trauma-informed tool that can be used individually or in groups to aid compassionate understanding of the inter-related nature of wellbeing and survival responses. The Wellbeing Zone weaves together the features of shalom described in the Bible with psychological and counselling insights. The Wellbeing Zone and the Wellbeing Zone's PEACE and PRAY models are created to help make trauma-informed counselling theories and interventions accessible and practical for professional counsellors, pastoral and supportive caring roles and for anyone interested in nurturing their own and others' wellbeing and flourishing.
