In a town beloved for its whimsy and magic, designer Alora Pennigrim possesses a peculiar imagination and the dream to purchase her own shop. Which is why a generous contract for the refurbishment of the enchanted Opulence Mansion couldn't have arrived at a better time.

It isn't long, however, before she's left wondering if achieving her dream should come with so many nightmares. Masked henchmen, memory-stealing wounds, and an intolerably attractive shopkeeper have since sullied her once charmed life. The dangerous combination divides her attention against a newfound problem: she's discovered something sinister seeping behind the mansion's numbered doors.
