The Windhaven Hotel is a seaside paradise to many, but to Audrey Woudstra it's the origin of her cursed ability to see ghosts. When her father unexpectedly passes, grief-stricken Audrey is forced to return to the hotel and live with her grandmother. Upon arrival, she finds the hotel's number of fatalities have drastically risen and the premises are now occupied by four ghosts. But these ghouls aren't the only presence Audrey is aware of. When her curse reveals the real circumstances behind her late aunt's death to be a vicious murder, as the only one who knows, Audrey must now prove the truth.
And it starts by striking a deal with Ryne.

But as he struggles with his languishing humanity and growing feelings for Audrey, she wonders if she can really trust him or if Ryne is a pawn in a more sinister game...
