The author is a Canadian-American Integrative/Functional Nutrition Health Consultant and founder of Your Health in Your Hands, a virtual health coaching service.
Living in the UK, Canada and the US, she discovered that all these countries had one thing in common, chronic diseases on the rise even in young people.
While studying culinary arts nutrition as a hobby, she discovered the link between nutrition and diseases and found her true calling.
This led her to enroll at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and later the School of Applied Functional Medicine in order to delve deeper into using nutrition and lifestyle changes for disease prevention and reversal.
She enjoys and finds fulfillment in using her expertise in health and wellness to help others to prevent and even reverse diseases.
She currently lives in Portland, Oregon and enjoys developing recipes, cooking, listening to music and travelling.
