Mato's Choice

Mato and Aponi and the rest of the backyard birds are faced with a life and death decision, and no one knows what to do. Maybe the dreaded crows have the answer, but who wants to ask a crow for help? After all, they are loud and obnoxious, steal food from the cans, and even hang out with vultures. Running out of time, Mato and Aponi decide to take a chance. Will Mato have the courage to go into the crow's territory? They're more likely to attack him rather than help. But if the crows might have a solution, Mato must risk it. If not, their backyard neighbor may not live to see tomorrow.

This is a wholesome story about confronting fear, overcoming obstacles, and helping someone in need, all the while exploring the wonderful world of our backyard birds and those loud and highly intelligent creatures, the crows.
