My goal is to create beautiful culinary arts books, that you'll enjoy as much as I do.
Working on the book, has been a journey of ups and downs. There were moments I wanted to give it up entirely-the frustration of finding the perfect photo, the right information, the ideal resolution; the delays; working on changing dpi and resolutions, tracking down the right printer, graphic designer, and distributor; and, of course, the occasional discouraging comment. At times, it felt like I would never see the end of the tunnel.
What kept me going was the excitement and dedication of everyone involved in this project. Their passion was contagious.
Along the way, there were many rewards: discovering the beauty of macarons in all their forms, connecting with talented chefs, and learning about their achievements. I even had a few fun adventures-like using Google Translate to correspond in Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Spanish and many other languages.
