Doc Weddle is uniquely qualified to write about wild turkeys because of how much they've been a part of his life over the last 43 seasons, as well as for the things which he's achieved in the sport, but this book (his fifth) also serves as a deep-read into the complexities and motivations of a hunter who has seen and lived through the greatest gamebird reintroduction in the history of the world. He's one of those pillars in the sport who've "been there; done that" and has the t-shirt to prove it. Heck, Doc probably screen printed the shirt, himself! So, come take a ride with this man as he reminisces about hunts past and waxes poetic about what the future might hold. Doc's life makes for an interesting read, but you're also bound to learn some things along the way. One way or another, I can guarantee that you'll be entertained from start to finish!
