Hudson's Story

Gracie and Duke are newlyweds who feel like something is missing. What could that something be? A dog, of course! They don't believe in going to a breeder or pet store, not when there are so many adorable pups who need rescuing. That is how they meet Hudson and adopt him. At first, Hudson is nervous in his new home. He's afraid to be alone and is uncomfortable with strangers. Soon, though, Hudson gets used to living with Gracie and Duke and truly feels at home. It's not until a few years later that there is another addition to the family ... Bea is born! When she comes home from the hospital, Hudson is curious at first but also anxious about the sights and smells associated with a new baby. He also sometimes feels ignored, but that doesn't last long as Hudson become Bea's protector and friend. Gracie, Duke, and Bea have given his life a purpose and filled it with love and laughter-everything Hudson needs to live happily ever after!
