The Beauty of Suffering

Life is filled with suffering, but what if there was a truth that softened the blow? What if there was beauty to be found in the midst of it, or it had the power to transform our lives?

While navigating multiple losses in a two-year period, Kimberly Baldwin began to see the beauty of Christ's suffering unfolding. The journey of her own suffering while watching the suffering of others opened her eyes to see that healing is available through the precious wounds of Jesus. Kimberly experienced a deep sense of His presence through her grief and sorrow. She found that His presence and relationship with her provided strength that would carry her through the valley of the shadow of death more times than she could imagine. She began to realize that in suffering, we are transformed to be more like Jesus.

In The Beauty Of Suffering, you will journey along with Kimberly as she tells the stories of some of the people she lost. You will find that we don't always get the answers to our questions or nice tidy bows wrapped around the stories of our suffering. However, if we believe in Jesus, we have a bow of eternal life with Him that will wrap up the stories we are living. He draws near to our broken hearts and enters into our suffering, and it is beautiful.

Kimberly Baldwin passionately loves God and people. She desires to see her testimony bring encouragement to others, revealing God's love to their hearts. Kimberly wears many hats as a wife, stay-at-home mom, friend, and prayer warrior. She is very fond of spending treasured moments with family and friends, especially when board games are involved. Kimberly, her husband, John, and their three children live in the beautiful state of Virginia.
