The Story of Keedon Bluffs

In the rugged wilderness of the Great Smoky Mountains, young Ike Guyther dreams of Civil War heroics. His quiet life is disrupted by a mysterious drifter, Jerry Binwell, and his enchanting daughter. When Ike discovers an old cannonball on the treacherous Keedon Bluffs, the stranger takes an unnerving interest, spinning chilling tales of witches to frighten local boys away from the cliffs.

Ike senses a hidden motive, a suspicion that deepens when he learns Binwell is a wartime deserter who betrayed his own blind uncle, Abner. While the charming Rosamondy wins the community's heart, Binwell's presence stirs old animosities. As rumors of a long-lost treasure box resurface, Binwell turns his manipulative charm on Ike's impressionable friend, Skimpy.
