Bound by Undead Secrets

It's October 1st. What should be just another boring day for Amora Goodson, with a hint of its usual macabre undertones, quickly raises her expectations for what's to come. It starts like any other day: breakfast with her brother Jason, a tossed letter from their estranged mother who abandoned them, getting tortured with history studies and girl troubles from her goth bestie, Bri, and fending off a wave of mindless fall latte-crazed zombies during her shift at their local coffee shop. Her everyday routine of satire and pessimistic humor is rudely interrupted by the arrival of an annoying (charming) goth hottie named Ambrose, who is currently the bane of her existence, and reading her book. He also just happened to be the boy she dreamed of getting chased in forest by his camo-clad hunters. Even for her, that's exceptionally weird, and very intriguing.

Amora is slowly dragged by her platforms into a dangerous darker-than-usual world full of mysteries about her growing abilities, her familial origins, and threats to her and the people surrounding her. All the while, she has to deal with the pressures of keeping up with her daily life as it withers away day-by-day until her birthday. The unwelcome changes in her normal life brings her the thrill she's been looking for in the form of unprecedented unfortunate events and late night romance. With the help of her friend Bri, and growing love interest, Ambrose, she battles the supernatural forces that keep her up at night and secrets that plague her by day. Will she survive until her birthday on the 31st? If not, hopefully she'll make it to her own funeral as a ghost on Halloween.
