Silent cries of the children

This is a true story about the abuse, neglect, and survival of five small children, what they had to endure and cope with throughout the years when they should have been loved, but were not.
I am taking the time to write this book for all the children who weren't, and may not be, as fortunate as we were.
Therefore, I dedicate this book to them, and to my brothers and sisters, who have since passed away. I hope this book will help others understand what happens to the less fortunate children in our society, and that, as you read my book, you may find yourself sad and in awe.
All too often, children are not as fortunate as we are and will not live through the horrors and the trials life will set before them, leaving their stories never to be heard. Therefore, I write my story in their honor.
Many times in our young lives, the hard times seemed to be insurmountable. Nevertheless, with the help of good friends and family, along with good old-fashioned hard work and a little imagination, along with ingenuity, often things that may have been impossible, are now possible.
This is why I tell people "never say never," because the impossible is only an idea that has yet to be done. I have always felt that trying and failing is not the mark of a failure, but seeing something as being impossible before you have ever tried, is truly marking yourself as a failure.
Courage is not the absence of fear; it is having the strength to do what is necessary despite fear.
