If you were one of the lucky ones who visited the apartment you would have seen the iconic Christopher Columbus statue as a centerpiece of an 810 square foot room. Your eye would have gazed at the accoutrements -- fine art, books about familiar artists, comfy seats, ornaments, and a TV tuned to CNN. If you looked closely at the wallpaper you would have seen drawings of American icons. This was a two month exhibit by the Public Art Fund: "Discovering Columbus."
