Mycophenolate mofetil: development of an FIA assay method

The validity of our method has been demonstrated. Routine use was successfully tested on 16 pediatric preparations of cellcept(R). In the physico-chemical compatibility study, omeprazole and methylprednisolone showed a color change with the appearance of a precipitate. Other drug mixtures showed a significant change in pH, with no apparent visual disturbance. Discussion: This study contributes to the safety of the cellcept(R) circuit in our center, but has certain limitations. Other tests could be carried out to reinforce our results, namely turbidimetry and the development of a separating dosing method. This study can be considered for other drugs, while improving it with the proposed complementary tests, in order to try to secure their circuits.
