Lornibur

Lornibur... The birthplace of the dwarfish race, buried over a thousand years ago to stop evil from entering Vaeldor. The survivors separated into four major clans, and the once great city beneath the mountains was lost forever.

Or so everyone thought.

During the Necromancer War, it was discovered that not all of Lornibur had been destroyed. Greyor rejoiced to see this for himself. But if word spreads to his brothers of Morimont, the king will send an army of dwarves to clean out and reclaim the city. That's the very reason Greyor keeps the knowledge secret. Not all living within Lornibur are evil. It's a delicate situation requiring careful planning, and he knows just the adventurers that can help.

The krukari. A race of half-hobgoblin outcasts doomed to live on the outskirts of town. Yet there was Baylun, a war hero, husband to a lovely half-elf warrior, father of three darling children, and Captain of the Honor Guard in West Palidur. Life isn't perfect, but it exceeds all his expectations. Then the letter arrives. Greyor from Morimont needs Baylun's help with a mission of unknown danger. His wife, Kiryanna, is eager to respond, leaving him no other choice than to accept.

But the task is more complex than Greyor had hoped, for Lornibur holds secrets long forgotten. Dark tunnels and crumbling chambers offer more than his company bargained for, and their lives depend on their ability to defeat that which has remained hidden for centuries as they uncover a plot to return dragons to the world; a process carried out by an evil priest and his demonic minions.
