Noel's Key

When Arienne is gifted her best friend's journal of gastronomic delights just before his death, its words begin to unravel before her eyes, and she finds herself physically falling into Noel's penned past. Each journal entry is imbued with a magic that enables Arienne to witness Noel's favourite foodie adventures in astonishing detail, as if she is experiencing them herself.

After Noel's death, the bewitching moments he has described within the pages of his special journal become increasingly beguiling, as Arienne tries to process her grief over losing him. Her obsession with the book grows, the line blurring between present and past... her own life and Noel's life... the real world and the fantasy world.

Ultimately, the book isn't meant to be a magnificent means of entertainment, though. It isn't even supposed to preserve the memory of Noel in unnaturally intense clarity.

But will Arienne find Noel's key to the real purpose of the book before it's too late?
