Coordinator's Manual

The Mentor Coordinator's Manual is designed to give the leaders in charge of The Christian Life Skills, Inc. Mentoring Ministry at your church, or program, the information necessary to plan, organize, and implement the ministry, after acquiring the necessary tools and conditions. Those tools and conditions include clearances, the Christian Life Skills curriculum for the targeted age group, a workable space available on a regular basis, a team of individuals with clearances, trained and equipped to operate the Christian Life Skills, Inc. ministry, basic supplies for recreation, snacks, and other necessities required for working with children or youth. The Mentor Coordinator's Manual presumes a team leadership approach with the possibility of co-coordinators and/or an administrative team consisting of 3 - 4 persons who meet regularly and collaborate prayerfully to build a strong successful leadership team, and, as a result, a strong successful ministry.

Christian Life Skills, Inc. was founded in 1988, after a two-year period of prayer and discernment, to provide life skills based in scripture to help children, youth and families live into their God-given potential, consistent with His Word. The CLS ministry is committed to the mission of helping urban and other congregations meet the needs of youth and families so they will grow spiritually and live successfully! (Joshua 1:8)
