Maria Teresa Su嫫ez Gable was born in Cuba in 1956 and came to the United States in 1967 during the Freedom Flights. Inspired by her father's determination to secure a better life for his family, she has carried his lessons of faith, courage, and perseverance throughout her life. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Maria Teresa has always treasured writing to preserve memories. She and her husband, Bobby, are happily retired in Maryland, where they enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren, and puppy, Duke.
