Born from a creative endeavor to celebrate our real therapy horse, Zippy, our series of new children's horse books is crafted with love for glorious kiddos navigating an increasingly anxious world.

Doc Zippy's kind insights inspire forward motion, confidence, and resilience. The adorable animal characters capture the hearts and minds of precious little ones and introduce concepts like anxiety, and physical and emotional challenges with simple and sincere positivity.

Back on Track is Book #3 in the Just Keep Zippin' Doctor Zippy books. Doc Zippy the horse sees Trax, a T-Rex train conductor who realizes he needs glasses after nearly hitting a family of skunks. In this whimsical tale, Doc Zippy helps Trax through the process of visiting the optometrist for eye testing and picking out glasses. The book features animal and human characters from the REAL-LIFE dinosaur museum where Angel, the illustrator, volunteers. She adores her DinosaurJunction.org family.

Zippy's insights and "Hoovescriptions" guide his patients through common worries and challenges faced by young children. New ways of thinking, encouragement, and solutions empower each patient in the series to conquer the challenges, and to celebrate the positive impacts they can have on others.

The Just Keep Zippin' (Just Keep Zipping) series is filled with heartwarming humor and illustrations by mother-daughter duo Kriss and Angel King. Although a fire devastated their home in 2020, this series embodies their reliance on faith, positivity, love, and a desire to Just Keep Zippin'! The books are also a tribute to the REAL-LIFE Zippy horse. This beloved therapy horse inspired many with his velvety Zmooches, willing attitudes, and resilience.
