This children's book is about the love a parent feels for their child. The Author uses animals to symbolize the obstacles a parent can overcome to make sure their child knows how much they are loved. The 4-line rhythm poetry style is fun to read and engaging for children as well as adults. The illustrations are colorful, yet simple for all children to enjoy and interpret. The Author, Emily Laws, was inspired to write this story after the birth of her son and wanted to further incorporate the "family" theme of the book, by asking her sister, Camryn Reyburn, to illustrate.
