Nursing in Intensive Care Units under debate

The book organized by Professor Claudia Toffano Benevento was the result of the guidance provided for the final projects of the Postgraduate Course in Nursing in Intensive Care Units (ICU) at UniAnhanguera/Niter鏙/RJ. Authors: GEILDA ERNESTO, IZABELE ALVES DA COSTA, JOCILENE BARBOZA DE ARA渰O, MARIA DO LIVRAMENTO AMADA DE OLIVEIRA, NEILA NASCIMENTO ALC齋TARA, and SIMONE DA SILVA E SOUZA. The M綣-Ganguru method is discussed using a qualitative approach, as well as analyzing humanization versus technology and the care provided by nurses to neonatal patients in intensive care. They report on a brief study of the role of nurses in intensive care for cancer patients and terminally ill patients, in the process of humanizing care in the intensive care center, and the role of nurses in caring for heart attack patients in the intensive care unit.
