Ten years have passed since the destruction at Portsmouth. Sampton lies in ruin, Portsmouth was lost to the raiders, and the Kingdom of Laundun's borders lessen with each passing year. Famine, raiding, cannibals, and corruption seep into every corner of the Kingdom, yet through it all, the people try to survive and even thrive in a world that had long since moved on from Technology.
Max Ferguson (formerly Maxwell York) has also moved on since then. His daughter, Lily Ferguson, had grown into a young woman full of anger and resentment. Despite the distance between them, they work together to look out for one another, since they're all they have left. However, one fateful evening, while they were out hunting, spiraled into a new crisis that seemed to be brewing in the dark recesses of the ancient city they now call home.
