When elderly Mordecai Artemus dies, everyone in Old Town is dying to get a peek inside his mansion. While Natasha Smith, the local TV domestic diva, sees an opportunity to turn the mansion into the College of Interior Designers' showcase home, Sophie Winston is content to coordinate the local home and gardening fair. The surprise comes when Sophie discovers that the deceased has chosen her to host a special soiree for the distribution of his inheritance. To top it all off, she succumbs to Natasha's game and ends up in charge of redecorating Mordecai's favorite room. Sophie will have to get to work, and not just with the renovations, if she doesn't want to get involved in a murder case...
