Memorer La Croisade: Edition Et Traduction Annotee Dal-Hariri, Kitab Al-I'lam Wa-L-Tabyin Fi Hurug Al-Farang Al-Mala'in 'Ala Bilad Al-Muslimin

The Kitab al-I'lam wa-tabyin fi hur al-Farang al-mala'in 'ala bilad al-muslimin is written at the beginning of the 10th/16th century by an unknown historian, Ahmad b. 'Ali al-Hariri, who probably lived in the Lebanese mountains near Damascus. Abbes Zouache offers a critical edition and a french translation of this text, which shows that several centuries after the conquest by the Mamluks of Saint-Jean-d'Acre, in 1291, and the disappearance of the kingdom of Jerusalem, the crusade was a fact of memory.
