Analysis of the determinants of surgical site infections

Surgical site infections today represent one of the most frequent postoperative complications, with a major impact on morbidity, mortality, length of hospitalization and healthcare costs. This book offers an in-depth analysis of the determining factors that favor the occurrence of surgical site infections, by expanding clinical and hospital approaches.
