本系列為 Read Write Inc. Phonics Book Bag Books 的課後閱讀讀本，依照孩子的拼讀能力與閱讀理解發展，分成由淺入深的八個學習階段。每一階段皆與課堂使用的 Storybooks 精準對應，讓孩子在熟悉的語音系統中反覆練習，穩定累積英文閱讀能力。
學習從 Red Ditty 開始，孩子透過極簡短、可拼讀的文字，建立「看字就能讀」的信心，熟悉最基礎的發音與閱讀節奏。進入 Green Set 1 與 Purple Set 2 後，持續練習 Set 1 sounds，閱讀篇幅拉長，孩子開始能獨立完成短篇故事的閱讀與理解。
在 Pink Set 3 與 Orange Set 4 階段，學習重點逐步銜接 Set 2 sounds，閱讀內容更豐富，句型變化增加，孩子不只是在拼讀，也開始留意故事內容與資訊重點，閱讀流暢度明顯提升。
