Jackie Kincaid is a very high achieving, status-driven woman. She has the looks, the education, and everything most women aspire to be. A role model, an inspiration, a no-nonsense go-getter, a no-nonsense goal getter-are just some of the things people have said to describe her.

After a very unexpected happening at her workplace, Jackie feels that she is now in the best position in her life with everything to give and nothing to hide. But there's one thing she doesn't have in her life, and that's true love, and she wants it now to make her life feel more complete.

Jackie immediately meets a man she feels an instant connection to because there's no man quite like Cassius Thorpe, a power producer who has the same type of mindset Jackie has in the sense of being a very high achiever . . . and they're both looking for real, meaningful love. And just like that, they're in a relationship with each other, a relationship that Jackie's friends worry that may have moved too fast.
